Renowned Egyptian artist Adam Henein, a Cairo native, has left an indelible mark on the art world. Graduating in Sculpture from the School of Fine Arts, Cairo in 1953, he continued his artistic evolution in Munich and Paris until 1996.
Returning to Egypt after 25 years abroad, Henein spearheaded the restoration of The Great Sphinx at Giza from 1989 to 1998, showcasing his expertise. In 1996, he established the International Sculpture Symposium at Aswan, contributing significantly to Egypt's cultural tapestry.
Henein's sculptural masterpieces, crafted from wood, clay, and granite, marry modernist elegance with Egyptian symbolism. His vibrant geometric drawings on papyrus add another layer to his artistic legacy.
